Today, I have finally rebooted my windows to upgrade to Vista Service Pack 1. It has taken me more than 3 hours to get it installed, fully upgraded and install just-over 20 different softwares. From this day, I have made an oath to keep everything organized. I have realized that one of my worst mistakes is that when I am working on one of my projects, I throw my files around on the desktop and in different folders which ends up getting lost, wasting space, making everything look a mess and wasting quite a lot of time just to find the things I am looking for. It also feels quite less-stressful since I don’t need to sit back and try to remember where I stored my files.

Off Topic

I would like to apologize to all of my readers for not publishing any posts to the blog, but it seems that since I have started working on Zenagog, I have been putting all of my time into it. Oh, and the good news is that I have receiving more followers on my Twitter account. I’m quite impressed since I haven’t really advertised my Twitter account anywhere other than on my blog.

I also have a few plans for my blog which will include publishing a post at least ONCE a week, adding a few advertisements on my blog, making people more aware of my blog and adding a feedburner / twitter counter to keep track of my subscribers. Thats about it for now; Good Day!

My Google Adsense earnings from my proxy sites have sadly reached their time. They have been open for longer than 3 months now, earning me over £300 in total; which I am very happy with from four proxy websites. Students (including me) are now going to be breaking up for their six weeks holiday from school/college. Since the targetted audience no-longer requires the use of proxy websites to access blocked websites; Google Adsense earnings will be so low, it will be pointless in paying to have the proxy running.

Whats next? In the six weeks given to me, I am going to be working when-ever I can on my project (Zenagog) to get it up and running as soon as possible, hopefully before college starts again! As for my proxies, I am going to leave my proxy websites as they are and wait for my host to cancel my account until 1st September, I will buy new domain names for the proxy’s and start all over but advertise like mad in the first 30 days (social bookmarking, newsletters, groups, directories, forums & more!).

Advice: For those who are looking to get into the proxy industry, don’t waste your time and money making a proxy now since it will be quite pointless trying to earn money from them at this period of time. I’d say wait until the new wave of students arrive at school/college and then start your proxy.

My family are always bugging me trying to find out what I’m always doing on the computer, but its always the same excuse that they get from me, “nothing”. There are a lot of reasons why I just don’t tell them the truth, for an example, my websites aren’t really classed as ’successful’, so I choose to keep it a secret from them until “hopefully” my websites become successful; another reason is that the website category is something they would never understand, such as my blog, they’ve never come across what blogs are; this is because they don’t use the Internet other than to go on eBay and search for items.

I really hope that with my new project “Zenagog”, I will be able to make it a success and then have the ‘guts’ to tell my parents of my achievement. I am going to put my blood (being sarcastic) and sweat towards developing, marketing and running the website to the limits. Meanwhile, I am going to keep my mouth sealed and try to keep things going to plan!

Lately, I have not been managing my time to do the things I want before the end of the day, So I thought I would contribute today’s post on why I should manage my time, what I will get out of it and how I will manage my time from now-on.

Why should I even bother?

I feel that without having a good time-table to follow, things will start to stack up into a massive pile and then I won’t have enough time to do it, espically when I’m starting a new project. I am being pulled from hundreds of different directions, including trying to update my twitter, myspace, post on my blog, take part in forum discussions…etc; I just can never get anything done! So, how will I catch up?

I have decided to create a new page on my blog for the purpose of creating and updating my time-table which includes the things that I must do everyday before I go to sleep. Which then I will use the gaps on my time-table to complete work which are on the pile, one by one.

What will I get out of this?

I wouldn’t have to continue planning on what I should work on once I get home while I’m at college or outside. I will be able to easily finish all the work that I really need to without worrying that I might not be able to finish it in time or having to work overtime. Most importantly, It will reduce stress. I won’t be needing to pull my hairs out of my head any longer!

This is a project that I have wanted to start and complete for a while now but I never had the time to focus on it due to college and exams, but since my 7 weeks holiday has started, I can now put most of my time and investments into this project. If by any chance, I have not published any posts on my blog for more than a day, then It would be because I’m very busy and alot of work has piled up.

The project is called Zenagog, Its an social, entertainment community where people all around the world are able to meet each other, socialize and make friends while having fun of games, videos, customizing your own living avatar and much more! I have no released date at the moment as I am still in the development stages, I have only just sorted out my hosting account at Vlexo (recommended) and changed the nameservers.

For those who are interested in the proxy industry, I have invested $15 in advertising all of my four proxy websites with two different newsletter services. Although, results won’t be seen until Monday and Tuesday, I have predicted that my proxies will stop earning money of google adsense on Saturday from advertising my proxy sites on the newsletter services. I have failed to earn back the investment with-in the first few weeks from when I have released my arcade website (http://www.gamer.bz), this could be because I have not paid so much attention to advertising it since I have been busy lately with life, marketing and earning money from my proxy websites. I am quite upset that I have failed to achieve the goal, but I guess I will have to move on and learn from my mistakes.

My arcade website will not be trashed, I will simply keep it alive until the my hosting runs out and hope for a miracle that the traffic starts to increase quickly! For now, I will still be paying more attention to proxy’s as I am fairly impressed of the revenue that can be made from them. Goodnight fellow readers!

Myspace was the best place to make money back in the day before it became too saturated, but that does not mean that marketing your website on myspace still isn’t effective. I have two accounts on Myspace, one is for personal use and one is just for posting bulletins and adding random people once a few weeks. I have now decided to use my personal account to get to know more people who work in the same industry as me, not to only to be able to market my website but to have connections to people who provide services within the same industry - so if you’re one, then you should see my profile ^_^

The purpose of this blog post is to make you, and everyone else reliase that it isn’t too late to get into the trend. Its easy to sign up and get started, but It takes quite a while to convince people to add you to their friends list. There are also groups which you can use to target people in the industry that you’re looking for. It is an effective tool to use to find your targetted audience and persuade them to visit your website.

As I have mentioned on the earlier post, I have invested $3 to place one of my proxy website links in a newsletter with 1900+ subscribers. Today, I have recieved the outcome, I have earned approximately $8 using Google Adsense. I am extremely impressed and I am definietly going to advertise all of my proxy website links through using newsletter advertising services from different owners as It introduces a wider audience.

I am planning to invest $20 once I have gathered a list of all the best newsletter services and hopefully, I will at least double what I have invested in one day. Update (04.05.08) :
I have earned an approximate total of $22 in three days of the same proxy site from advertised it into the newsletter. Just so everyone knows, the proxy site that I have advertised did recieve traffic for weeks before I advertised on the newsletter. Awesome!

I have four proxy websites which I have earned at least $100 every month. However, this month and last month, I have earned $300. I was suprised at this because the only advertising I have done is through Myspace Bulletins each week and Long Term Advertising the moment they were released.

I have decided to advertise one of my proxy website’s on a newsletter at a cost of $3, It will be released tonight! The reason that I have only posted one link is to see if the service is reliable, trustworthy and effective.

If it works out well, I am definitely going to advertise my proxy on many other newsletter services as well as on groups. My aim is to earn $50 from all four proxy websites every day. Stay tuned for more tips on making money from proxy websites!

Twitter was not as popular as it is now, I have no idea how it managed to attract so many visitors all of a sudden but where there’s visitors, theres potential marketing opportunities available.
